Alex is a seasoned real estate investment professional with extensive experience in multifamily property acquisitions, underwriting, and asset management. Over the course of his career, Alex has demonstrated a strong ability to identify and secure prime investment opportunities, leading teams through comprehensive acquisition processes and asset repositioning plans. His high proficiency in financial modelling, deal sourcing, and fund creation has enabled him to successfully navigate complex transactions for his clients. Alex’s expertise are further enhanced by his expert use of enterprise technology tools and a fundamental strategy to sourcing Core, Core+, and Value-Add properties.
Prior to building Danforth, Alex was responsible for investing ~$140m in liquid real asset alternative funds using robust quantitative methods as an Investment Associate at Richardson Wealth. His tools would often include factor-based modeling, mean-variance and constraint optimizations, and monte-carlo simulations. Alex continues to apply these methods to evaluate key fundamental and economic data in his effort at Danforth.
Alex holds a Bachelor in Economics from McMaster University. His continuous professional development, combined with hands-on experience in multifamily property acquisitions and asset management, positions him as a highly competent and reliable expert in his field.
